
Dr. Sejal Mehta
Dr. Sejal Mehta, M.D. M.B.A. received her medical degree from B.J. Medical College, India. She completed her residency and fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She worked in Kansas City for four years in a private hospital. She moved to Dallas in 2004 with her family and started a private practice with PMA. She has been actively practicing in the Dallas metro area and providing excellent state-of-the-art patient care. She is a Physician Advisor for the Yoga Bharati Dallas Chapter.

Dr. Manju R. Goyal
Dr. Manju R. Goyal is a board-certified psychiatrist who cares deeply for her patients and seeks to help them acquire lifelong coping skills. She completed her medical schooling with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery from Government Medical College, Patiala, India, in 1975. With 30 years of experience, Dr. Goyal believes that a combination of medication and therapy works best to help her patients achieve their goals. Currently, Dr. Manju is pursuing Yoga teacher training at Yoga Bharati Dallas Chapter and is a believer and avid yoga practitioner.

Dr. Preeti Malladi
Dr. Preeti Malladi completed her M.D. in medicine at UT Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Malladi completed a General Surgery Residency at UCLA, a Minimally Invasive Surgery and Bariatrics Fellowship at Northwestern University, and a Research Fellowship in Tissue Engineering at Stanford University. She serves the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex through Bariatric, General, and Minimally Invasive surgery. Her passion is to improve patients’ lives through compassionate surgical care with the highest clinical and technical skill levels. Dr. Malladi uses the most innovative technologies and collaborates closely with the patient’s primary medical team.

Sheela Venkata
Sheela Venkata, B.E., RYT-200, currently pursuing a Diploma in Yoga Therapy with Yoga Bharati. She has been involved with the Dallas chapter activities since its inception. She manages the center’s yoga therapy activities and works with the team in providing yoga therapy for various ailments. She has been teaching yoga for 10 years and is committed to sharing transformative benefits for yoga. She is passionate about helping community members to integrate the principles of yoga into all aspects of life. As a devotee, she helps at the local temple activities. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Himabindu Gorantla
Himabindu Gorantla, B.Sc. Biotech& Biochem, MBA, LLB, certified yoga instructor (from India) with 5 years of experience. Currently pursuing DYT from Yoga Bharati. She is a volunteer at Yoga Bharati as a yoga instructor with a strong commitment to the holistic teachings of yoga. She contributes to the organization by teaching kid’s classes for special needs, yoga therapy workshops for adults, and supporting the growth of the community. Outside of yoga, she enjoys activities such as stroke painting, hiking, reading, meditation, and traveling. She believes in continuous learning and personal growth, both on and off the mat.

Sejal Sharma
Sejal Sharma B.S in Comp Sci, certified Early Childhood Teacher, certified yoga teacher (200hr), and an Ayurvedic Health Counselor (600hr) from Kerala Ayurveda. She has pursued 2 years of Sanskrit studies from Samskrit Bharati. Combining all the areas of her study, she contributes at Yoga Bharati in IT related admin work, along with some areas of content development. She is interested in all ancient Indian scriptures and sciences which led her on her Ayurveda and Yoga journey. She loves learning and is eager to pursue her further studies at Yoga Bharati.

Anu Benakatti
Anu Benakatti, is a Bachelor and Master’s in Biology. She is a program manager at USICOC, and is an renowned host and television anchor and COO at iAsiaNews Dallas Texas. She volunteers as a Media Advisor for Yoga Bharati Dallas chapter.
